Jim Cotter coaches his last game at Boston College High School.

Boston College High School loses 7-6 to Catholic Memorial at B.C. High’s Alumni Stadium in the last game for Cotter, who coached B.C. High for 41 years and whose teams compiled a record of 236-149-17. A native of Savin Hill, Cotter also taught history and served as a guidance counselor at the school. He dies of ALS at age 73 on July 20, 2010.
